A man is in custody after he was allegedly caught exposing himself to school children near a Mesa school.
Mesa police report on April 10, at about 7:45 a.m., they were called to an area near University and Stapley drives for a man exposing himself.
Multiple callers reported to police that a man, later identified as 28-year-old Spencer Jace Thompson, was exposing himself and smiling as he walked down the street.
Police say he was within a block of two elementary schools and one witness saw him as he was exiting a school parking lot.
Police report that Thompson has an extensive arrest record including giving alcohol to minors, child molestation and nine prior arrests for indecent exposure.
In this incident, he has been charged with four counts of indecent exposure.
