PHOENIX — A man was caught exposing and touching himself in front of multiple families at a park in Central Phoenix, according to court paperwork.

Phoenix police report that on the afternoon of February 27, they responded to Margaret T. Hance Park near Central Avenue and McDowell Road.

When Phoenix police arrived, park rangers were standing with 39-year old Nathan Hardy, who was accused of exposing and touching himself in front of "numerous families at the park."

Police say there were at least five to six children present at the time.

Hardy reportedly told police that he was "watching the moms there and was turned on."

Hardy has been charged with public sexual indecency.

Court records show he was previously arrested for the same charges and was released from prison on other charges in December 2017.
