PHOENIX — A man accused of sexually assaulting a co-worker is also linked to three previous sexual assaults in Phoenix from 2015 to 2018.

Phoenix police report that on July 12 they arrested John Edward Holmes, 35. It was reported to police that Holmes allegedly sexually assaulted a co-worker at his home near 52nd Street and McDowell Road.

The victim reported to police that she agreed to go to his house but became extremely upset after getting a call regarding a family member. Homes reportedly tried to comfort the woman at first, but quickly made unwanted sexual advances, overpowering the victim.

Police say Holmes has been accused of sexual assault three times before between 2015 and 2018.

In each of those cases, Holmes allegedly picked up women from a Scottsdale bar and sexually assaulted them after offering them a ride home.

Investigators also found numerous videos of Holmes having sex with various women, who did not know they were being filmed. Many of the women in the videos also appeared to be unconscious, according to court records.

Holmes has been charged with sexual assault and was given a $150,000 bond.
