A Valley woman is accused of stabbing her live-in boyfriend during an argument in their Mesa home.

Police say that 61-year-old Floydell Taylor was, “very intoxicated, very loud and belligerent" when she stabbed her boyfriend in the upper thigh.

The victim told police they were arguing over their relationship and finances, when Taylor became angry. He said, he went into the bedroom to get away from her. However, police say she followed him into the room, stabbing him in the leg.

When police arrived the bleeding victim managed to get out of the home, but it took some coaxing by police to get Taylor to come out.

When she was in custody, she reportedly, continued her threats by saying "when she gets released from jail, she was going to buy a gun and shoot the victim in the head and leave Arizona."

Taylor has been charged with threatening and aggravated assault.
