A mother returning from tubing on the Salt River with her children was arrested for extreme DUI.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office reports that on June 23, a deputy pulled over a black Lincoln Navigator on the Bush Highway near Usery Pass Road.

The deputy had observed the SUV cross over the centerline and then cross into the bike lane on several occasions.

He pulled the vehicle over and talked with the driver, 30-year-old Jessica Lynn Walker, who allegedly admitted to having at least three drinks while tubing on the river.

MCSO says her preliminary breath test resulted in a blood-alcohol level of .18 -- over two times the legal limit.

The deputy reported that there were six passengers in the vehicle with her including three children under 12 years old.

She has been charged with Extreme DUI.
