PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is investigating a homicide near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Around 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a shots fired call near 24th and Jackson streets.
When they arrived they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Phoenix Fire Department.
Officers are working to identify a motive and suspect description.
The investigation remains ongoing.
