Wanted: Luis Ramon Cardenas
Charges: Probation violation on amended charges of child abuse
On October 24, 2016, Luis Ramon Cardenas was arrested for sexually assaulting a high school freshman girl in Mesa. He had met the girl through a mutual friend and kept in contact with her through Facebook. He saw her at a high school football game where he asked her to go to a movie the following day.
After the movie, they went to a park where they began drinking, and Cardenas had sex with the girl several times over five hours in the back of his car.
Cardenas pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of child abuse and given a ten year probation.
He has now absconded and has not checked in with his probation officer.
Cardenas is 20 years old, 5-feet-inches tall, and 130 pounds. He has black hair and green eyes.
