TEMPE, AZ — A DUI suspect rams a disabled taxi on the shoulder of the Loop 202, sending two victims to the hospital with serious injuries.

DPS reports that on January 21 about 2 p.m. they responded to Loop 202 and Priest Drive for a vehicle crash.

A disabled taxi cab, with two people inside, was on the side shoulder of freeway preparing to be towed, when it was struck by another car.

That car, driven by Bailey Ann Wilson, age 25, pushed the cab, "up the tow truck's bed and down the embankment."

Both occupants in the rolled cab were transported to the hospital, one with a concussion and the other with a broken back, pelvis and possible paralysis.

DPS says Wilson admitted to drinking 10 cans of beer prior to the crash.

Her breathalyzer test reportedly registered her B.A.C. level at .259, over three times the legal limit.

She has been charged with aggravated assault and endangerment.
