DPS: $4.5 million in drugs found during Northern Arizona truck inspection

HOLBROOK, AZ — $4.5 million in drugs was found during DPS truck inspections recently in Northern Arizona, according to court paperwork.

DPS reports that on August 11, DPS troopers seized over $4.5 million in drugs and arrested two commercial truck drivers and a man in a passenger car.

During the truck inspection on I-40 near Holbrook, Arizona, DPS reportedly found 376 pounds of cocaine, 40 pounds of meth and $4,414 in cash.

DPS arrested father and son truck drivers, Vincent Rowe, age 48 and Vincent Rowe Jr., 19, of Victorville, California.

In a second traffic stop later that day a DPS K-9 found nearly 12 pounds of cocaine. Damiano Oando Rowe of Fontana California was arrested in that incident.

They have all been arrested on various drug charges, including transporting narcotics for sale.
