A Mesa man found out that "Julie" and "Stefanie" only exist in the arrest report of an undercover Chandler police officer.

Court records show that from August 28 to September 9, a Mesa man communicated with an undercover officer his desire to have sex with children he believed were 9 and 12 years old.

Chandler police report that 37-year-old James Robert Brose met with an undercover officer and agreed to pay $200 to have sex with the two pre-teen children.

Brose allegedly described to the officer various and specific sex acts he wanted "Julie" and "Stefanie" to perform. A date and time were set and on September 9, Brose met the undercover officer at a location in Chandler near Chandler Boulevard and Price Road.

Believing the children were inside the room, he reportedly paid the fee to the undercover officer, and in exchange, was arrested.

Brose has been charged with child prostitution and sex trafficking.
