A man used scissors and a whiskey bottle to attack his ex-girlfriend who he had been stalking for seven years.

Chandler police report that in the early morning hours of May 3, Michael Eugene Allen, age 24, entered a second story apartment in Chandler near Ray Road and McClintok Drive. Once inside, Allen allegedly began yelling at his ex-girlfriend regarding her relationship with her girlfriend who was also in the apartment.

While in the home, he reportedly threatened to kill both of them and attacked his ex-girlfriend by strangling her with his hands, knocking her into a dresser breaking it and threatening to hit her with a whiskey bottle.

The victim later told police that, "at one point she could feel the cold steel on her neck of what she believed was a pair of scissors she had seen him pick up.”

As he was attempting to kidnap his ex-girlfriend, the other victim managed to get out of the apartment and contact two pedestrians who helped her call police.

Allen left his ex-girlfriend behind as he fled the apartment. Police now believe he may be in the Las Vegas area, where some family members live.

The victim relayed to police that Allen has been stalking her for the past seven years by spying on her, showing up outside classes and work and shutting off power to her home.

When found, Allen is expected to be charged with kidnapping, burglary, and aggravated assault.
