An Arizona man and woman are facing multiple charges after allegedly robbing a CVS Pharmacy at gunpoint and then firing a shot at a victim's car.
According to court records, a man and woman walked into the CVS near 35th and Glendale avenues and pointed a gun at a woman and demanded that she open the register.
The woman told the two that she did not work at the store. The couple, identified as Rochey Renee Sanders, 34, and Antwon Deondra Mack, 29, then pointed the gun at a clerk.
Antwon then told his accomplice to take the purses away from two female customers, records show. One customer refused to give up her purse and was hit several times by the suspects before being able to run out of the store.
Police said one of the suspects fired a shot at the victim's car and hit her door.
The man and woman were arrested. Both face charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and armed robbery.
