FOUNTAIN HILLS, AZ — Fountain Hills High School is closing for 14 days and all students are being told to quarantine after a "COVID-19 related issue on campus."
The school posted a message about the closure Wednesday on its Facebook page.
The message reads that the decision was made due to the number of students who have been in direct contact with a person who tested positive.
All students are being asked to quarantine for 14 days.
School officials announced all extracurricular activities are also canceled for two weeks.
Students and teachers will begin remote learning on Thursday. A return to in-person learning hasn't been announced.
