SCOTTSDALE, AZ — As the nation’s population ages, more and more seniors are staying in the workforce—and one Valley city is among the 25 U.S. cities with the highest percentage of their elder residents still working.

Scottsdale has the highest percentage of seniors in the workforce of any Arizona city, according to an analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data done by Provision Living.

The analysis looked at cities with a total population of 200,000 people or more.

Of the more than 55,000 residents of Scottsdale older than 65, 20.6% are working.
