A Valley pizza chain has signed a deal with Arizona State University to be the sole pizza vendor at ASU sporting events including football games.
Venezia's Pizzeria signed on as a sponsor of Sun Devil Athletics, the restaurant announced this week.
The deal means the pizzeria's giant pepperoni and cheese slices will be sold at all football games at Sun Devil Stadium this season beginning Aug. 29 with the ASU home opener.
The deal also includes pizza sales at Phoenix Municipal Stadium for baseball games, Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium for softball games and Wells Fargo Arena for volleyball matches and gymnastics competitions.
