A young East Coast tech firm that aims to provide businesses with a more effective and cost-effective option for recycling has its eye on Phoenix as it plans to double both its employment and the number of metros in which it operates.
Pittsburgh-based RoadRunner Recycling on Tuesday said it raised a $28.6 million Series C financing round.
The company plans to boost its employment, from 165 to 330 within the year.
The round was co-led by e.ventures and Greycroft with additional participation from Franklin Templeton and existing investors, Adams Capital Management and FJ Labs.
