The top executive of the Phoenix Chorale will be stepping down from the post in January, ending five years at the helm and 15 years with the organization.

Jen Rogers, who first took on the role of president and CEO on an interim basis in 2015 after working as the Chorale's vice president of marketing and communications, said she plans to work as a consultant for artists and arts organizations on marketing, branding, fundraising, crisis management, strategic planning and other areas.

She began her career with the Chorale in 2006 as a consultant.

“When I started with the Phoenix Chorale, I was immediately captivated by the high level of music-making and set out to elevate and expand the capacity of the organization to match and support the choir’s artistry. That has been at the core of my work for the Chorale, and together we have built an incredible community connected to each other through the music,” Rogers said in a statement.
