After a few months’ delay, Tesla rival Lucid Motors is nearly ready to unveil the production version of its luxury electric sedan.
The target date for the Lucid Air’s public appearance is Sept. 9.
The global reveal for the sedan will be an online event, and will feature details on the vehicle’s design, specifications and pricing, Lucid said Wednesday morning.
While the first 80 prototypes were made in Newark, California, at the site of failed blood-testing startup Theranos, the production models will come out of a factory in Casa Grande.
