Effective Friday, ISM Raceway in Avondale is now known as Phoenix Raceway, after the naming rights sponsorship with ISM Connect ended.
ISM was the venue's naming rights sponsor since 2018. Prior to being ISM Raceway, the track was known as Phoenix International Raceway.
“Phoenix Raceway is a brand with a long motorsports history since we opened our doors back in 1964,” the raceway’s president Julie Giese said in a email announcing the change.
Phoenix Raceway and ISM Connect mutually agreed to restructure their relationship and discontinued the naming rights partnership, according to a statement issued by the racetrack.
