DATOS Report 2020: Hispanic economic clout continues to grow; education challenges remain

Despite continued challenges that have been heightened in 2020 due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the Hispanic population's growth continues to help fuel the Arizona and national economies.

That's just one of the findings of the 24th annual DATOS report, "The State of Arizona's Hispanic Market," released Thursday by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

According to the report, U.S. Latino buying power is projected to reach $1.9 trillion by 2023, and will reach $57.2 billion in Arizona alone by 2022. The report also points out that Latino GDP is growing 70% faster than the overall U.S. GDP.
