The Arizona Coyotes launched this week three new Spanish-language social media accounts as part of the team’s efforts to make inroads into the Latino market.

The Valley's National Hockey League franchise will post photos, videos and messages to fans in Spanish using the handle “Los Yotes” on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

“We are extremely proud to have the first Hispanic majority NHL owner in Alex Meruelo,” Coyotes president and CEO Ahron Cohen said in a statement.

“We are thrilled to introduce our Spanish-language Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts and look forward to providing Hispanic hockey fans with unique and engaging content on this platform.”
