AdhereRx, a courier pharmacy service, is opening a new facility in Phoenix in May to support managed care organizations and patients with chronic conditions.
Located at 1343 N. Colorado St., Phoenix, the new 18,000-square-foot facility will employ 50 people.
It will support patients in services such as predictive analysis to identify those with high-risk and drug therapy problems, personalized medication regimes, medication deliveries and financial assistance, adding to an existing pharmacy operations facility in Cary, North Carolina.
“This new facility comes at a crucial time. We are already experiencing a spike in demand for our unique AdhereRx pharmacy, which has now been magnified by the recent spread of COVID-19 and guidance for social distancing – especially for the elderly and high-risk patients,” Jason Rose, CEO of Nashville, Tennessee-based AdhereHealth, said in a statement.
