Children's clothing retailer hacked, customer data exposed

PORTLAND — Customers of Portland-based children's clothing retailer Hanna Andersson had their credit card information exposed in a hack last year, according to a Jan. 15 letter from the company.

Exposed information included card numbers, CVV codes, expiration dates, names and addresses.

The hack affected transactions made on the company's purchasing platform between Sept. 16 and Nov. 11, 2019.

Its letter to customers said the company was only recently informed of the breach.
