Arizona State, University of Arizona online programs rank high in U.S. News report

The online programs at Arizona’s two largest public universities were among the best in the nation for both their undergraduate programs and various graduate programs.

Arizona State University was first in the nation for its online undergraduate business program, and University of Arizona was No. 6, according to U.S. News and World Report’s rankings of the best online programs.

It was the first time that the U.S. News report, which ranks the best online programs in the nation, included online bachelor’s degree programs in business. Schools were evaluated in a few categories including best bachelor’s program and best MBA program. It also looked at various master’s programs including in business (non-MBA), information technology, criminal justice, education, engineering and nursing.

ASU and UArizona ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, for their overall online undergraduate programs, and both appeared in the top 10 for online MBA programs as well, with ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business ranking No. 6 and UArizona’s Eller College of Management ranking No. 10.
