Amazon.com Inc. is now hiring more than 1,000 full-time workers ahead of the opening of its latest fulfillment center in Goodyear.
Employees at this 855,000-square-foot West Valley facility will work alongside Amazon robotics, to pick, pack and ship small items to customers, according to an announcement from the e-commerce behemoth.
Workers will be paid a minimum of $15 an hour and full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits including full medical, vision, and dental insurance as well as a 401(k) with 50% match starting on day one.
The company also offers up to 20 weeks of maternal and parental paid leave and other benefits.
