Love Target, but its website...not so much?

The retail giant is giving its online store a facelift after a number of shoppers complained about the website and the difficulty of getting online help inside the stores.

According to USA Today, Target is reorganizing its app and website for an easier experience. Here's what the process will be:

  •     You'll place an order online.
  •     You will then get a text when the item is ready for store pickup.
  •     Stores will have special order pickup desks specifically for online orders.
  •     Stores will easily be able to accept online returns from purchases at the pickup area.

And that's not all.

Fortune magazine reports Target is streamlining its inventory by cutting back on the number of sizes, flavors and brands of products it offers. The store plans to focus on its popular items so products are in stock when customers are looking for them.

"We will continue to invest in our signature categories of Style, Baby, Kids and Wellness to inspire our guests with incredible products they can only find at Target," Target's CEO Brian Cornell said in an online statement.

Fortune reports there are also plans to redesign shelving to put more products out.
