PHOENIX – The Arizona State Fair kicks off on Oct. 4 and here is what guests can expect from the annual event.

On top of thrilling fair rides and classic fair food (deep-fried, obviously), the Arizona State Fair is bringing several amazing exhibits to life this year that will wow guests left and right.

For those of you who enjoy seeing the talent of Arizona, there will be a series of concerts and competitions to check out. Artists such as Becky G, Lil Pump, Billy Currington, and The Cult will take the stage carrying on a tradition that goes back to the ’70s. Apart from music, other acts will also take the spotlight like dancing, cooking, arts & crafts, and so much more. Check out azstatefair.com to see the full calendar.

If these performances are not for you, don’t worry! The fair is hosting rodeos, amazing petting zoos, monster trucks, and retro arcade games. Regardless of your age or interest, Arizona has a little something for everyone.

Plus, one lucky kid winner will be given the opportunity to report about the fair for the three weeks it is up and running. The kid correspondent will run audio and video coverage of the fair with exclusive access and fun prizes. Parents can sign their kids up here.

The Arizona State Fair takes place on Oct. 4-27 at 1826 W. McDowell Road in Phoenix. Check the website for exact hours of operations and ticket prices.
