PHOENIX – St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix is looking for donations for Thanksgiving this year. St. Mary’s will be hosting its 13th Annual Super Saturday Drive on Nov. 23 at two of their drop-off locations in Phoenix and Surprise or at one of these drop-offs locations hosted by Albertson’s or Safeway.

Their goal is to get 10,000 turkeys to pack and distribute to families in need, three days leading up to Thanksgiving.

“The Food Bank distributed more than 11,000 Holiday Food Boxes in the three days leading up to Thanksgiving in 2018. Each year, hopes are that each will contain a turkey and other assorted holiday dinner items giving Arizona families the chance to enjoy the comforting tradition of a holiday meal.”

St. Mary’s has two food donation drop-off sites:

  • St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance – Phoenix at 2831 N. 31st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009
  • St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance – Surprise at 13050 W. Elm Street, Surprise, AZ 85378
