PHOENIX – On the first Friday of every month, Phoenix invites its residents to a night on the town where they can enjoy local art in its many forms.

Whether it be food, art or music, this event celebrates the culture and spirit of a bustling city.

There are no rules when it comes to First Fridays. Several museums offer free admissions on this day like the Heard Museum and the Phoenix Art Museum. There are also walk-through galleries scattered around and pop-up art shops from small local businesses.

Roosevelt Row, located just outside of Downtown Phoenix, is a hub for many exciting nightlife activities that extend their hours just for First Friday. Check out jazzy venues like The Nash, hipster cafes like be Coffee, or local shops like Made Art Boutique.

People usually start gathering for this event around 6 p.m. and most vendors stay open until 10 p.m. It is a great opportunity for residents to familiarize themselves with their city and visitors to experience it at its fullest!

You can vote First Friday as the “Best Art Festival” for Phoenix New Times here.
