(WFLA) – Hootie & the Blowfish will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album next year by hitting the road for a reunion tour that includes a show date in Phoenix.

The rock band announced the Group Therapy Tour, as well as a new album, Monday morning during an appearance on NBC’s TODAY Show.

Starting May 30, 2019, the band will be touring all over the United States with the Barenaked Ladies.

On June 19, the tour will stop at Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m.

You can find all the tour dates and ticket information on the Hootie & the Blowfish website.

Lead singer Darius Rucker said he and the other band members – Mark Bryan, Jim Sonefeld and Dean Felber – hope to have a new single out by spring and a full album ready to go next summer.

The album and tour come 25 years after the release of their album “Cracked Rear View.” The wildly successful debut album included hit songs like “Hold My Hand” and “Only Wanna Be with You.”
