The state has proposed a bill that could possibly end tax on diapers, baby formula, and feminine hygiene products.
Take for example a bulk box of diapers for $46. The taxes on that would be $3.70.
Three bucks may not seem like a lot, but it can add up quickly, especially if you are constantly buying these products. For women, the lifetime cost for menstrual products can cost about $20,000.
Several states, including New York and New Jersey, already prohibit sales tax on diapers and feminine hygiene products.
