Thompson is a family man and firefighter for the Sun City Fire Department. Service is in his blood. Not only does he care deeply about serving his community, but he also volunteers his time talking to fellow veterans in Arizona and California, helping them cope with their own battles here at home. On top of that, he has become a spokesman for Nothing but Love Notes, an organization that writes thank you cards to veterans and first responders.
