Billy Moore Days: When you ask most longtime Avondale residents about their memories growing up here, many of them will inevitably mention Billy Moore Days, a tradition named for Avondale's founder, and celebrated for more than five decades in Avondale.  Billy Moore Days will take place in Historic Avondale, with the return of the event's favorite elements including the Billy Moore Days Parade and Carnival, and marks the 71st anniversary of Avondale's incorporation. Trick… or treat? Howl-O-Ween includes activities and experiences for the whole family. Looking for scary tricks? SCARY activities are for guests eight years and older who like a good scare such as Area 51, House of Voodoo, Zombie Laser Tag and much more! Sweet treats more your style? MERRY activities are appropriate for all ages and include Mad Science Laboratory, Boo Ball with DJ Mars and Trick & Treat Doors and more!
