PHOENIX — It may not feel like the ideal patio weather in Arizona right now with temperatures north of 100 degrees, but in a couple of months the temperatures will start to drop, the misters will still be on, and patios will once again fill up.
And two restaurants in Arizona have some of the "most scenic" views in the United States, according to OpenTable's yearly listing of the "100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America." So, if you need some ideas, here you go!
Mariposa Latin Grill near the Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona and Vivace Restaurant in Tucson, Arizona made OpenTable's list. Both restaurants made the same list in 2018.
In fact, Vivace has made OpenTable's "most scenic" list every year since 2016.
Other restaurants that OpenTable has recognized in recent years, include: Different Pointe of View at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix (2016, 2017, 2018); Elements Restaurant at Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa in Paradise Valley, Arizona (2018); Mesquite Grill Tonto Verde Golf Club in Rio Verde, Arizona (2017); and The Patio at Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona (2016).
OpenTable said it compiled reviews and data from June 1, 2018 - May 31, 2019 to create this year's listing. It looked at a restaurant's overall score, qualifying number of reviews, diner rating, klout, and restaurants that had "scenic views" listed as a special feature.
