PHOENIX — Some 12 million books, both digital and physical copies, audiobooks, and DVDs, were checked out from the Phoenix Public Library's 17 branches throughout 2018.
Topping the list: The adventures of a middle school "Wimpy Kid," the story of a 16-year-old girl trying to solve a mystery while battling her own internal thoughts; a new murder-mystery from Jonathan Kellerman; and an animated movie about a boy named Miguel who wants to play his guitar and sing.
