"The Funky Monk" in Tempe has closed.
The 60s-themed lounge and bar was a new concept from Square Once Concepts, the development group behind Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Wasted Grain and Bourbon & Bones.
It was located on the corner of Mill Avenue and 6th Street.
A spokesperson confirmed the bar had closed but did not provide a reason.
The Tucson bar remains open.
Prior to The Funky Monk, the space was formerly Wasted Grain and World of Beer.
