A Tempe doughnut shop is designing their doughnuts after a galaxy far, far away.

In honor of May 4, also known as "Star Wars Day" or "May The Force," Donut Parlor in Tempe has created "galaxy" doughnuts and plans to sell them throughout the month.

Owner Chhaya Tan told ABC15 that they're big Star Wars fans and "wanted to do something special for our customers that was out of this world."

It's a traditional yeast doughnut dipped in a psychedelic mixture of butter icing that is topped with sugar sprinkles to give it a twinkling look, he said.

Individual doughnuts are $1.99 each. A half-dozen is $5.89 and a dozen is $10.90.

The doughnut shop is at 1245 W Elliot Rd 103, Tempe, Arizona 85284, near Elliot and Priest.
