Cafe Monarch is relocating its quaint fine-dining restaurant to a larger space and opening a breakfast concept.

The concept is not moving far though; it's actually moving across the street. The new space is 4,500-square-feet and will allow the restaurant to seat up to 130 people, including a 12-seat bar, two private dining rooms and 1,000-bottle wine cellar in the dining room, according to a news release.

While the space is larger, owner Phillip Lewkowicz said in the release that the restaurant will not lose its charm.

"For years we've always envisioned Cafe Monarch's future in the new building and we are now making that vision a reality," he said in the release.

Cafe Market will open in its new space in October. An exact date was not provided.

The old space will be turned into a breakfast-and-lunch concept called "Monarch Marketplace" though details on exactly what will be offered and when it will open were not available yet.

This year, OpenTable listed Cafe Monarch as one of the top 100 most romantic restaurants in the U.S. and one of the best "Al Fresco" restaurants in the country.
