The Red Hot Chili Peppers have canceled three upcoming concerts, including one in Arizona, because one of their band mates is recovering from bronchitis.

"We are so sorry that we cannot come to Glendale as planned," the band said in a statement. "Anthony [Kiedis] has been fighting off the bronchitis all week and still needs a few more days to recover. We are sorry for any inconvenience to our fans..."

The band was scheduled to perform Saturday, March 4, at Gila River Arena. That concert has been rescheduled for October 18.

The band also canceled shows in Denver and San Diego.
