It's a big week as the festivities for the 2016 College Football Playoff Championship begin.

The Phoenix Convention Center will be transformed much like it was during last year's Super Bowl XLIX, this time geared towards college football. The exhibits will open to the public on Friday.

Also happening that evening, The Band Perry, will kick-off AT&T's FREE outdoor concert series. Also joining The Band Perry on Friday will be David Nail and Campus DJ. Scroll down for ticket information.

Country legend Willie Nelson performs at Celebrity Theater and comedian Joel McHale will entertain crowds at Stand Up Live. View more events below.
