Kona Grill has closed down one of its Scottsdale locations, plus two other restaurants in other markets, following the sale of the company on July 26.
Kona’s sale to Williston Holding Co. Inc., which is run by Kona’s founding partner and two-time former CEO Marcus Jundt, for $20.3 million included 24 restaurants.
Before the sale Kona was operating 27 locations.
The now-shuttered Scottsdale location was at the Scottsdale Quarter mall near Greenway Parkway and Scottsdale Road.
