On Wednesday, the James Beard Foundation unveiled the semifinalists for the upcoming James Beard Awards, otherwise known as the Oscars of the culinary world.
The awards include top honors such as Outstanding Restaurateur, Best Chef, Outstanding Restaurant and Best New Restaurant.
