If you're ready for Christmas music to start playing over the Phoenix airwaves, you do not have to wait much longer, if at all.
With more than 40 days to go until Santa Claus makes his annual trek around the globe, KEZ 99.9, part of iHeartMedia, announced Thursday morning that it would begin playing holiday tunes on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
It is not known when exactly the tunes will start to play as the radio station is coordinating that announcement with a promotion. You can read more on KEZ's website.
CBS radio station, KOOL-FM 94.5, will start inserting Christmas music into its regular lineup after Thanksgiving, said Sandy Corcoran, assistant director of marketing and promotions.
If you're looking for Christmas music now, Corcoran said the station is playing commercial-free Christmas music on 107.9 HD2 and through its online radio player.
Those with the iHeartRadio app can search for the "iHeartChristmas" playlist. Or there are streaming services like Pandora, Apple Music and Spotify.
