TEMPE, AZ — After postponing its run at ASU Gammage because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hamilton, the smash-hit Broadway musical, will now visit ASU Gammage for nearly four-weeks in the fall of 2021, the theater recently announced.

The show, created by Lin Manuel Miranda and tells the story of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, is scheduled to visit ASU Gammage Sept. 8 - Oct. 3, 2021, the theater said.

The first week of the show, Sept. 8-14, 2021, will be known as "subscriber week" and reserved for season subscribers. The remainder of the show's run will then be open to anyone.

Individual seats are not on sale yet. An on-sale date would be announced later, the theater said. Season subscriptions, however, are on sale now.

Because of the pandemic, the spring, summer, and fall of ASU Gammage's 2020 season had to be reorganized. Shows were either canceled, postponed, or rescheduled.

As it stands now, My Fair Lady is set to start the season in February 2021, followed by Tootsie (March 2021), Disney's Frozen (April 2021), Jersey Boys (May 2021), and To Kill A Mockingbird (June 2021).

Hadestown postponed the launch of its national tour and is now expected to visit ASU Gammage in 2022. It was originally scheduled to visit Jan. 17-21, 2021.

The Band's Visit has been rescheduled for July 20-July 25, 2021.

Mean Girls has been rescheduled for August 31–September 5, 2021. It was originally scheduled for September 1–6, 2020.

Oklahoma! has also been pushed to 2021, but rescheduled dates have not been announced. It was originally scheduled for December 1-6, 2020.

Come From Away and Disney's The Lion King canceled their engagements.
