GLENDALE, AZ — Arrive early and plan ahead.

That is the advice officials are recommending for those headed to the West Valley this weekend, which will host a number of high-profile events, including two performances of Cirque de Soleil's Amaluna, a nearly sold-out Garth Brooks concert, and Trisha Yearwood's all-you-can-eat tailgate. Not to forget, all three events take place in and around State Farm Stadium (formerly University of Phoenix Stadium).

Not far away, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox play at Camelback Ranch - Glendale.

Here is what you need to know:

TRISHA YEARWOOD'S TAILGATE

Country singer Trisha Yearwood will host an all-you-can-eat tailgate ahead of her husband's concert at State Farm Stadium. Tickets are $65 and include unlimited samples and two drink tickets.

The event will be near Gate 1 of the stadium, across from Cirque de Soleil's blue and yellow tents. It runs from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The parking lots open at noon. The "orange" lot is closest to Yearwood's event. Parking is $20 and can be purchased online through ParkingJuJu.com. View parking map, here.

GARTH BROOKS CONCERT

More than 70,000 people are expected to attend the Garth Brooks concert, according to State Farm Stadium.

The stadium's parking lots open at noon. There are several lots around the stadium and Westgate Entertainment District. Parking at most lots is $20, though the red lot (closest to Gate 2) is $75.
You can view a parking map, here.

Officials recommend arriving between noon and 3 p.m. Parking passes can be bought before the event at ParkingJuJu.com.

Lyft and Uber will pick-up and drop-off people at the stadium's Black Lot and at Westgate Entertainment District.

The Great Lawn opens at 3 p.m. for tailgaters.

The plaza opens at 4 p.m. and stadium gates open at 5 p.m.

The show is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

Clear bag policy: The stadium recommends not bringing any bags with you. Under the NFL's "clear bag policy," fans will be allowed one 12” by x 6” x 12” that is clear and made of plastic, vinyl or PVC. In addition, fans can bring in a small clutch or purse no bigger than 4.5" x 6.5". More info on clear bag policy.

Have seats on the field? Enter Gate 2 on the north side of the stadium. You will be given a wristband. You will need both your ticket and wristband to gain access to the field.

Loop 101 closure: Westbound Loop 101 will be closed between Pima and Scottsdale Roads from 10 a.m. on Friday, March 22 through 5 a.m. Monday, March 25. State Farm officials recommend people use State Route 51 north to Loop 101 westbound to get to the stadium.

DODGERS VS. WHITE SOX

The L.A. Dodgers and Chicago White Sox play at Camelback Ranch. First pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m.
The stadium is near Camelback Road and 107th Avenue, less than five miles from State Farm Stadium.
