And then there were five.

America sent home two more American Idol hopefuls after millions of votes were cast on Sunday night's live show.

The Idol contestants sang songs by icon, Prince, who died in 2016. They also sang songs from the years they were born, which ranged between 1996-2000.

In the end, Jurnee and Catie Turner did not receive enough support to move on in the competition.

That means Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Maddie Poppe, Cade Foehner, Gabby Barrett, and Michael J. Woodard move on to the Top 5.

Host Ryan Seacrest said the remaining contestants would travel to Music City, U.S.A., otherwise known as Nashville, Tennessee, where they will be mentored by country superstar and Idol winner, Carrie Underwood.

Next Sunday's show, May 13, will once again air live coast to coast. You can watch beginning at 5 p.m. right here on ABC15.
