Check out the new restaurants that opened around the Valley in June.
Modern Market (Ahwatukee) - Modern Market is a fast-casual restaurant based in Colorado. The menu features breakfast, lunch and dinner options including salads, sandwiches and pizza. They also serve local Arizona wine and beer. Earlier this year, Modern Market opened a location in Scottsdale. In June, it opened a second eatery in Ahwatukee. Address: 4901 E. The chef said he wanted to create an "authentic Roman trattoria," in a news release. This is the coffee shop's fifth location in the Valley since opening in 2008, and is across from the Phoenix Art Museum at The Muse.Photo by: Press Coffee Roasters The Organic Bean Coffee - Downtown Mesa has a new coffee shop and cafe. The Organic Bean Cafe serves fair trade coffee and uses organic nut milks and syrups, according to the Downtown Mesa Association. It can be found at 40 N. It is a new concept from the owners behind Scottsdale's Old Town Gringos. In the back is a small cottage-looking game room. The eatery can be found at the Arrowhead Town Center near 79th Avenue and Bell Road.
