PHOENIX — Producers have announced the date and a new location for the second edition of the "Downtown Phoenix Oktoberfest."

The German-themed festival, which made its debut last year at CityScape Phoenix, will move to Civic Space Park, which sits across from Arizona State University's downtown Phoenix campus near Central Avenue and Taylor Street, said HDE Agency, who produces the festival, in a news release.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Festival admission is $10 when bought online or $15 at the gate. Tickets include access to the festival, music, games and contests. Food and drink are separate.

This year's event will feature music from Funkhaus Brass Band, a Phoenix-based New Orleans jazz band, eight German beers on tap, a stein-holding contest, a brat-eating contest, and backyard-style games such as corn hole, Jenga, and Ladderball.

Tickets and more information can be found at the festival's website, www.dtphxoktoberfest.com.
