Country star Chase Rice will headline Tempe's big New Year's Eve bash.
The "Ready Set Roll" singer, which he also co-wrote, will perform many of his top hits and fan-favorites from the NYE Block Party on Mill Avenue main stage at Fifth and Mill avenues.
The announcement was made Monday by the Downtown Tempe Authority.
“I’m looking for people who are looking to have the best night of their entire life,” Rice said in a prepared statement. "If you aren't here to party, I'm gonna make you party."
This year's event will highlight more of Tempe's businesses, restaurants and bars. There will be two stages, dueling pianos, DJs and three food trucks, according to the announcement.
There will also be a 10-foot tall "2016" to backdrop your photos, a midnight confetti blast and fireworks.
The event starts at 7 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2015. General admission tickets are $10 and VIP experiences are available additionally.
