Singer Bob Seger has postponed 18 of his concerts to address an "urgent medical issue" with his back, according to a news release.
He was scheduled to perform at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Oct. 28. The release said the concert would be rescheduled and that a date would be announced as soon as it was available.
Tickets already purchased will be honored at the rescheduled concert.
"I'm so disappointed to have to suspend the tour as a band is on a great roll," Seger said in a prepared statement included in the release.
The issue is with Seger's vertebrae, the release said but did not elaborate.
